Deere Updates Backhoe & Tractor Loader For Lower Ownership Cost & Better Efficiency
Moline, Illinois,-based John Deere, one of the largest agriculture and construction equipment manufacturers in the world, just unveiled two newly updated construction machines. The new 310L EP Backhoe and 210L EP Tractor Loader both feature a number of advances meant to improve the cost of ownership, routine maintenance, and productivity to make it more attractive to rental fleet operators.
Responsible Power
Both the new backhoe and tractor loader ship with a Yanmar 3.3-liter diesel engine under the hood, capable of generating 69 horsepower. This motor adheres to the EPA’s Tier 4 final regulations, without the need for exhaust aftertreatment components that add complexity and additional cost. Another new feature designed to improve power and handling is the variable displacement hydraulic pump; this keeps the hydraulics and the transmission balanced throughout a variety of engine loads.
The loader arm on the 210L Series Tractor Loaders has improved hydraulic pump flow and larger-diameter hoses and tubes, resulting in loader lift times that are up to 26% faster. The machines’ lift capacity is also 18% higher, to up to 6,340 pounds (2,876 kilograms).
Peace Of Mind For Your Fleet
John Deere 310L EP Backhoe or 210L EP Tractor Loader customers can also ensure these machines remain ready to work at all times thanks to the dealer-supported Ultimate Uptime, which consists of predelivery and follow-up inspections, five years of JDLink telematics, machine health prognostics, remote diagnostics, programming capabilities, and more based on the customer’s needs.
