As China’s leading manufacturer of construction machinery and the world’s largest manufacturer of concrete machinery, Sany offers an extensive line of heavy construction equipment that’s exported to more than 150 countries and regions. Its concrete equipment lineup, for example, includes truck-mounted concrete pumps, trailer pumps, line pumps, placing booms, batching plants, truck mixers, and mortar pumps. Sany also manufactures excavators (in mini to large sizes, with wheeled models and loaders), cranes (mobile, crawler, tower, and truck-mounted), and road construction equipment (motor graders, rollers, pavers, asphalt batching plants, and cold planers). In addition, Sany makes rotary drilling rigs, port machinery, mining machinery, petroleum drilling machinery, and wind turbines.

Sany started in 1986 as a small welding factory, then known as Hunan Lianyuan Welding Material, based in Lianyuan, China. In 1991, it was renamed Hunan Sany Group and eventually evolved into Sany Heavy Industry. Through the years, Sany has had several industry achievements. It built China’s first high-pressure truck-mounted concrete pump in 1994, and in 2009 introduced a 200-ton hydraulic excavator that offered the largest tonnage in China. In 2014, Sany unveiled a concrete pump with a 620-meter vertical pumping height.
