Grove, which is now a Manitowoc company, was founded in 1947 and has manufacturing facilities in Wilhelmshaven, Germany, and Shady Grove, Pennsylvania. The company sells mobile telescopic cranes that fit in a wide range of environments, including construction sites, industrial sites, and even in military operations.

Some of the configurations available are all-terrain cranes designed for off-road performance, truck-mounted cranes that can get up to highway speed, rough terrain cranes for more remote work sites, telescoping crawlers with enhanced maneuvering capabilities, and the Yardboss line of compact industrial cranes that can perform material handling and other tasks.

One of the most unique facets of Grove is how much custom technology it puts into its products to make them stand out a bit from the crowd. These include the MEGAFORM style of boom, the TWINLOCK boom pinning system, and the MEGATRAK suspension system, all of which can only be found in the company’s products.
