    About Powerscreen

Northern Ireland-based Powerscreen is credited with pioneering the concept of mobile screening, or screening machines that travel to a quarry rather than hauling material from the quarry to the machine. Originally known as Ulster Plant when founded in 1966, the company changed its name to Powerscreen International in 1970, not long after it exported its first machine.

Since its founding, Powerscreen has made several acquisitions, including Brown Lenox (makers of rock crushers) and Samuel Pegg & Son (specializing in textile and quarry machinery). In 1999, Powerscreen became part of Terex, and today both the Terex Pegson and Powerscreen equipment lines are combined under the Powerscreen name.

Powerscreen offers more than 50 product lines around the world, specializing in the design, manufacture, and support of mobile crushing and screening equipment. The crushing equipment line includes jaw crushers, impact crushers, and cone crushers. Screening equipment products include Powerscreen Chieftain mobile incline screeners for aggregates and sand, Powerscreen Warrior for a wide variety of materials, and the Powerscreen H range designed for sticky materials or exact, fine sizing demands. Powerscreen also offers mobile conveyors as well as its Pulse remote monitoring tool.

You’ll find a wide range of new and used Powerscreen screening units, crushers, and more for sale on MachineryTrader.com.
