    About Tadano

Japan-based Tadano started in 1919 when Masuo Tadano opened a welding company. It wasn’t until 1955, though, that Tadano Iron Works began building cranes and introduced the OC-2 truck crane, which the company notes marked the beginning of the history of hydraulic cranes in Japan.

Tadano began exporting its products overseas in 1960, established its first overseas subsidiary in 1973, and opened Tadano America Corporation in 1993 in Houston, Texas. After success with its hydraulic cranes, Tadano branched out into selling aerial work platforms in 1983 and then developing and producing all-terrain cranes starting in 1990. Today, you’ll find new and used Tadano all-terrain cranes, rough-terrain cranes, boom trucks, telescopic boom crawler cranes, loader cranes, and aerial work platforms for sale from around the world on MachineryTrader.com.
