The system uses a guidance system for more accurate and efficient operation. To use it, you enter information about the grade or slope that you want to achieve, and then the machine ensures that you don’t go past that depth or angle.

One example of a Komatsu mini excavator is the PC35MR-5, which has an operating weight of 7,993 pounds with a canopy and 8,324 pounds with a cab. It uses a Komatsu 3D88E-7, 3-cylinder engine that produces 24.4 horsepower (18.2 kilowatts) at 2,200 rpm.
