    Description
***Call for Price*** The Mecalac 6MCR (2023 model year) is a versatile, compact crawler-excavator designed to bridge the gap between a traditional mini-excavator and a skid-steer loader. Its "skid-excavator" concept allows it to perform a wide range of tasks—including digging, trenching, loading, and material handling—with speed and precision, particularly in confined urban job sites. Operating Weight: Approximately 12,600 lbs (5,700 kg). Engine: 55 kW (approx. 74 HP) @ 2,300 rpm. Hydraulics: Equipped with auxiliary hydraulics and a hydraulic quick-attach system. Versatility Features: Includes a hydraulic thumb, enabling efficient material grabbing and handling. High-Speed Mobility: Unlike standard compact excavators, the 6MCR is capable of higher travel speeds, allowing for rapid repositioning across job sites. Mecalac Kinematics: The boom design provides an expansive range of motion, allowing for deep digging as well as loading close to the machine, which is ideal for working in narrow trenches or confined areas. Operational Design: This unit is engineered to be a multi-purpose tool carrier, effectively functioning as both a loader (when using standard skid-steer style buckets) and a precise excavator.
