About Conveyors, Feeders & Stackers
Conveyors, feeders, and stackers take the burden of moving aggregate materials from one place to another away from wheel loaders and dump trucks. Sold either as individual components or complete systems, conveyors, feeders, and stackers are available in a variety of sizes and specifications, so it can take some careful consideration to choose the right one for your operation.

Working Together
An entire conveyor, feeder, and stacker system starts with a tail section where the material is loaded. Some operations might also add a hopper over the tail section to store material before it’s conveyed to the stacked destination. The feeder system often features a truss that provides structural support for the load, belt, and frame. For larger stockpiles, the feeder system will incline upward, ending above the peak of the stockpile or the intended stockpile location. Some models include a telescopic stacking system to adjust the discharge point.
Options For All Jobsites
There are traditional open-air belt conveyors, which are probably what most people picture when they think of conveyors, and then there are pipe conveyors, which are used to keep transported materials away from outside contaminants. Feeder systems also differ based on the properties of the material the machine is intended to move. Heavy-duty models, for example, might have idlers, rollers, and impact bars designed to support ores, large rock, and other heavy aggregate.
What Size Works For You?
There’s a lot of variation when it comes to the type of conveyor, feeder, or stacker as well as their general specifications. For example, there are 30-foot (9-meter) conveyors that will work for smaller operations, ranging up to feeder stacking conveyors that can reach 100 ft (30.5 m) or more in length. You’ll also find entirely self-contained, portable systems, as well as modular frames and components to fit into larger fixed conveyor, feeder, and stacker builds.
