The transition pool forms at the transition from the down to up-sloped sections.
The main deck section slopes uphill to retard the material and form the filter cake as it moves along the screen.
Adjustable discharge weir at the discharge end helps tune the cake depth.

ITEM B: Support stand assembly with chutes.
This is a basic stand to support dewatering screens listed above (“A”).
A collection pan beneath the screen collects the removed liquids. Two wash back bars at either end of the collection pan help flush any through-solids to the pickup port.
Includes a “free-standing” infeed distribution chute / box. This will properly direct the feed material to the downsloped drainage section of the screen deck.
A discharge chute collects the screens sand discharge overs for conveyor pickup.
