Quality equipment and full-service parts, rentals, service, and sales support have been the Faris focus for over 60 years. We realize that only by continuing to make you the priority and helping you grow will we continue to grow.
The Faris-Moritz Equipment Company was founded in 1953 as a construction supply firm. The partners, Lloyd Faris and Charlie Moritz, were former key employees of the McCoy Company, a Caterpillar dealership at the time.
When Charlie Moritz retired, the company name was changed to Faris Machinery Company. In 1976, Roger Poulson took the helm, managing for 28 years. The main office has been in its current location in Commerce City since 1977. Grand Junction opened in 1998, and Colorado Springs in 2005.
Roger Poulson retired in 2003 and the company was taken over by his sons, Todd Poulson and Giles Poulson. In 2011, Todd retired. The company is now run by Giles Poulson.
Faris acquired Boyle Equipment in 2011, then Foster Equipment in 2012. The company continues to grow by expanding its services and offerings to additional markets, representing high quality manufacturers, and providing customer service, parts support, rentals, and sales with integrity and professionalism.
